 @ When I went to the hotel I always stayed in and saw her there, I knew that I would never let anything keep us apart again.  We've been married for 18 years now. 

WOW!  Congratulations on 18 years!!!   In my opinion, even if it's love at first site, at some point there has to be a decision.  You have to decide to move forward or not.  You have to decide to speak your heart or not.  You have to take the chance or not.  You declared it.  You claimed her and decided.  She was yours and that was that!  I love it.

As for falling in lust...they say that men find love through sex and women find sex through love.  The only thing that matters is you ended up in the same place!
